Terms of Service

Last updated: 16 October 2026

1. About these Terms

These Terms of Service ("Terms") apply to your use of numio-mobile.com (the "Website") and any purchase you make through it. The Website is operated by NUMIO LTD, a company registered in England and Wales (company number 17448509), registered office 128 City Road, London, EC1V 2NX, United Kingdom ("Numio", "we", "us"). Contact: [email protected].

By using the Website or placing an order, you accept these Terms, our Privacy Policy, Refund Policy and Cookie Policy.

2. Our service

Numio lets you buy prepaid mobile top-ups (airtime and, where available, data or bundles) for mobile numbers in the countries listed on our Coverage page. Top-ups are supplied by mobile network operators ("Operators") through our authorised distribution partners.

Numio is not a mobile network operator. Operators set the available products, amounts, validity periods and network terms, and are responsible for their network services.

3. Who can use Numio

To use the Website, you must:

  • be at least 18 years old;
  • use a payment card or wallet that you are authorised to use, issued in one of the countries we support;
  • not be located in, or ordinarily resident in, a sanctioned or restricted country, and not be a person subject to UK, EU, UN or US sanctions;
  • buy top-ups for personal use or to send to family and friends, not for commercial resale.

You can top up your own number or a number belonging to someone else.

4. Placing an order

  • Choose the destination country and enter the mobile number. We detect or suggest the Operator automatically.
  • Choose a top-up amount. Operators support specific top-up amounts, which vary by Operator and product. If the amount you choose does not match an amount supported by the Operator, your order is processed at the nearest lower amount that the Operator supports.
  • Enter your email address and confirm it with the 6-digit code we send. We use this email to send your order reference, receipt and updates.
  • Review the order summary, including the total price, and confirm payment.

You are responsible for entering the correct country and mobile number. A top-up delivered to a number you entered incorrectly cannot normally be reversed or recovered.

A contract is formed when your payment is confirmed and we accept your order. We may decline or cancel an order before delivery, for example if the Operator rejects it, the number is unsupported, there is a pricing error, or our fraud or compliance checks require it. If we cancel, you will not be charged, or you will receive a full refund.

5. Prices and payment

Prices are shown and charged in euros (EUR). Top-up values are set by the Operator in the local currency of the destination country, and the price you pay is their equivalent in EUR, together with our service fee. The order summary shows the total you pay before you confirm payment. A minimum charge may apply to each order.

Where your order is processed at a lower supported amount (see section 4), the price you pay is based on that final amount, not on the amount you first chose. The final top-up amount and the amount charged are shown in the order confirmation we send to your email.

The amount the recipient receives is shown in the local currency set by the Operator. Taxes or charges applied by the Operator in the destination country may affect the credit received.

We accept the payment methods shown at checkout. Available payment methods may vary by country and device. Payments are processed by our regulated third-party payment service provider; we do not store your full card details. Your bank may charge foreign exchange or cross-border fees, which are outside our control.

6. Delivery

Once your payment is confirmed, we submit the top-up to the Operator. Most top-ups are delivered within seconds or minutes, but delivery can sometimes be delayed by the Operator. We show the order status on the Website and email you confirmation.

If your top-up has not arrived within 24 hours, contact us with your order reference.

7. Your right to cancel

Top-ups are digital content supplied immediately after payment. When you confirm your order, you ask us to start supply straight away and acknowledge that you lose your right to cancel once the top-up has been delivered to the Operator.

8. If a top-up fails

If the Operator does not accept the top-up, the order is not completed. Depending on the payment status, the payment authorisation is released or a refund is issued under our Refund Policy.

9. Limits, fraud prevention and compliance

To protect our customers and comply with the law, we may:

  • apply limits on the value or number of orders per transaction, per day or per payment method;
  • carry out fraud, sanctions and payment checks, and ask you for information to verify an order;
  • decline, cancel or hold any order, or block access to the Website, where we suspect fraud, misuse, sanctions breaches or other unlawful activity;
  • report suspicious activity to the relevant authorities where required by law.

If we cancel an order for these reasons before delivery, any payment taken is refunded to the original payment method, unless the law requires us to act otherwise.

10. Acceptable use

You must not:

  • use the Website for any unlawful or fraudulent purpose, including money laundering or terrorist financing;
  • use a payment method that you are not authorised to use;
  • resell top-ups or use the service for commercial purposes without our written consent;
  • interfere with the Website, its security or operation, including by using bots or automated tools.

11. Intellectual property

The Website and its content, including the Numio name and logo, belong to NUMIO LTD or its licensors. Operator names and logos belong to their owners and are used only to identify supported networks.

12. Our liability

Nothing in these Terms limits or excludes our liability for death or personal injury caused by our negligence, for fraud, or for any liability that cannot be limited by law, including your statutory rights as a consumer.

Subject to this, we are not responsible for:

  • top-ups sent to a number or country you entered incorrectly;
  • Operator network coverage, service quality, tariffs or account restrictions;
  • the top-up amounts and products each Operator supports, including any adjustment of your order to a supported amount;
  • delays or failures caused by events outside our reasonable control.

Our total liability for any order is limited to the amount you paid for that order.

13. Changes to the service and these Terms

We may change, suspend or withdraw supported countries, Operators or products at any time. We may update these Terms; the version published on the Website when you place an order applies to that order.

14. Complaints and contact

If you have a question or complaint, contact us at [email protected] or through the contact form on the Help page. Please include your order reference. We aim to respond within 5 working days.

15. Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales, and the courts of England and Wales have jurisdiction. If you are a consumer living outside the United Kingdom, you also keep any mandatory consumer protections of your country of residence.
